Manuel Castells

Manuel Francisco, 71, of Lambertville entered into eternal rest Friday, January 17, 2014, at his home. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and is formerly of Tenafly before moving to Lambertville eleven years ago.
Manuel was Partner and CFO at Kwasha Lipton Consulting Actuaries in Fort Lee for 32 years before retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the Society of Actuaries, and a member of the conference of Consulting Actuaries, and served on the board of the Association of Private Pension and Welfare Plans for many years.. He was also a member of Temple Kehilot Ha Nehar in New Hope, PA.
Manuel was predeceased by his brother Jaime. He is survived by Jeannie Castells, his wife of 32 years, his daughters Carmen Castells Schofield and her husband Charles of Piperville, PA, Catalina Castells of Buckingham, PA, his granddaughter Rowan Marvil, and siblings Mary Rose, Teresa, Carmen, Carlos and Onofre, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 10 AM, at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. Interment will be private..
