Mary Papinchak

PAPINCHAK
Mary (nee Babich), 90, of Clifton, NJ died Sunday at home.
Born in Humenne, Czechoslovakia she came to the United States in 1938 and lived in Scranton, PA, Passaic, Little Falls Garfield and for more than sixty years in her residence in Clifton.
Mrs. Papinchak last worked for Allied Barton Security Services at BAE Systems, Wayne for twenty-three years as a security guard. She previously worked as a waitress at The Brownstone Restaurant, Paterson and The Robin Hood Inn, Clifton. During World War II she was a sewing machine operator at a military supply factory.
She was a member of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, Clifton.
Mary loved outdoor activities including working in her garden and taking her daily walks around the neighborhood.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Peter Papinchak and his wife, Ann Aune of Sacramento, CA and Peter Michael Papinchak of Doylestown, PA; one daughter, Susan Mary Papinchak of Clifton; one sister, Helena Amtrushova of Humenne, Slovakia; and two granddaughters, Krystina Rose Papinchak of Belleville and Abigail Margaret Papinchak of Doylestown, PA.
Funeral Services are 10:30 AM Thursday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 11 AM at Assumption of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, 35 Orange Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Parastas 2 PM, Wednesday.
