Milton, age 83 of Millville, passed away Sunday morning, January 13, 2013 at his home.
He was the son of Maxim and Sofia Moroz. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret "Peggy" Moroz, brother Wasil Moroz of Sagle, ID and sister and brother-in-law Nina and Frank Carletto of Manahawkin, NJ.
Born in Garfield, NJ, Milton graduated from Garfield High School. Milton served in the Army
during the Korean War
. In his early years he was President of the family's business, Garfield Beverage in Howell, NJ. He has been a Millville resident since 1971. Prior to his retirement he was corrections officer at Southern State Correctional Facilty.
He was a former member of Odd Fellows, a member of Shekinah Lodge No. 58 F & A.M. of Millville, Mariner Lodge No. 150 F. & A. M. of Barnegat, Elks Lodge
#580 of Millville and the Evening Star Lodge No. 97 F & A.M. of Cedarville. He was a Past Junior Grand Deacon under the Most Worshipful George Martin of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Jersey.
Milton is survived by his sister and brother-in law Lorraine and John Franklin of Lakewood, NJ.
He will be remembered by his children, Loretta Moroz Doody; Michael Moroz; Linda Moroz; David Moroz and his wife Patricia Ann; and SMSgt (Ret-U.S.A.F.) Joseph Moroz and his wife Lisa; step children, Eileen Breslin and husband John; Joseph Nardi; Mary Broglin and husband Roger; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Milton's memorial service 10:30 AM Wednesday at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville, where there will be visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the Masonic Charity Foundation of NJ, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016-3896.
