Robert Grosbeck

GROSBECK
Robert Geddes Sr., of Blauvelt, NY, passed away on Sunday Jan. 20, 2013 at the age of 79.
He was born on February 4, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Eugene Remsen and Bertine Isobel (Geddes) "Nan" Grosbeck.
On Oct. 10, 1958 he married Marilyn Cook at Our Lady Of Mercy, Park Ridge, NJ. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Robert worked as a Lithographer for Dexter Press in West Nyack for 30 years and for the American Banknote for 5 years and the Banknote Corp. of America for 5 years. He was a member and Past Chief of the Blauvelt Fire Department for over 25 years and was an Honorary Member of the Empire H & L Co. #1.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, devoted children, Robert Geddes Jr. and his wife Bernadette, Pieter Cook and his wife Lisa and Margaret Elizabeth "Meg" Grosbeck Howe and her husband Robert, his cherished granddaughters, Chelsea Lynn and Courtney Ann. And his brothers, Eugene Remsen Grosbeck Jr., Philip Baldwin Grosbeck, and his beloved dog Bud, who was at his side to the end.
