Steven Shaber

Steven, passed suddenly from the lives of family, friends and colleagues on February 7, 2014. Beloved by his family, he was an adoring husband to Lisa, nurturing and always-present father to daughters Allison and Hannah, son of proud parents Sandra and Gary, devoted brother to Ruth, loving uncle and brother-in-law, and unwavering friend.
Born in 1958, Steven was an intellectual explorer, lifelong tinkerer, technology pioneer, brilliant writer, and thoughtful iconoclast. A connoisseur of crossword puzzles, classic rock, and local history, he was always true to himself and fiercely loyal to the people he loved.
Steven used his MBA from Penn and JD from Columbia to pursue a successful career connecting business, technology and law. He recently joined Culhane Meadows as a partner specializing in intellectual property.
Donations in Steven's memory can be made to the ACLU, of which he was a "proud card-carrying member", or WNYC. Memorial service February 16, 2 PM, Gutterman-Musicant Funeral Home, 402 Park St, Hackensack, NJ.
