Vincent S., 87 on April 28, 2013. Born in Garfield Vincent lived most of his life in Lodi. Before retiring he was a truck body salesman for Dianem Co., Lodi, subsequently for Frank's GMC, Lyndhurst and Steel Fab Co., Paterson. He was also the former proprietor of Marchese Sunnyside Florist, Lodi. Vincent was a WW II navy veteran serving on the USS Rolf. He was a member of the Lodi VFW Post 5082, Lodi American Legion #136 and was a founder member of Lodi Barber Shop Hometown Chorus. Predeceased by his parents Joseph A. and Assunta Marchese. Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Naples). Devoted father of Sue Ann Debiak and husband Kenneth of Oakland, Dianne Wittig and husband Brian of Rockaway, Mary Ann Slacke and husband Christopher of Durham, NC, Lou Ann Novotny and husband Martin of Maywood, and Joseph P. Marchese and wife Cynthia of Skillman. Loving grandfather of Robert J. and Allison Marchese, David V., Marc J. and Jason K. Debiak, Jeffrey Novotny, Lindsey Rosamond, Brennan Slacke, and six great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Stephen P. Joseph G., the late Pat J. John A. , and Anne Marie Marchese. Funeral Thursday 9 AM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 N. Main St., Lodi, then to St. Joseph R.C. Church for a 10 AM Funeral Mass. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
