Hon. William F., age 71 of Hawthorne, on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Born in Bayonne, William had resided in Hawthorne most of his life. William had graduated from Don Bosco Prep High School and is an inductee in the Don Bosco Prep Hall of Fame, earned his BA from St. Peter's University, and his JD at Rutgers School of Law. He held the position as a Federal Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey, retiring in 2000. William was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church in Wyckoff, a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, and a founding member of the Hawthorne Water Ballet. William F. Tuohey was the beloved husband of Eileen (nee Corbett) Tuohey. Loving father of Meaghan Tuohey-Kay of Hawthorne, and the late Bevin Tuohey. Dear grandfather of Grace Margaret and Liam James Tuohey-Kay. Brother of Dorothy Underwood of Oradell. William is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral will be departing at 9:30 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 10 AM, funeral mass at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Wyckoff. Interment will follow at the Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8pm.
