Michael Grubiak

GRUBIAK Michael, Jr., 85, of Passaic passed away on January 31, 2011. Born in Bethlehem, PA, Mr. Grubiak came to Passaic with his family as a young child and was a lifelong resident. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a factory worker with Garden State Paper, formerly in Garfield. Prior employment had been with Manhattan Print Works and Manhattan Rubber, both formerly in Passaic. He was a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic and was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Mr. Grubiak was predeceased by his wife, Helen (nee Kolicka); his two sisters, Anna Vladyka and Frances Krompascik; and his brother, Ted Grubiak. He is survived by two sisters: Louise Stolarz and her husband, Alex, of Clifton and Mary Schroeder, also of Clifton as well as by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 AM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter and Paul R.O. Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
