John SCALESE Obituary

SCALESE John A., 77, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Mr. Scalese was born in and was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst. He was an Army Veteran serving from 1955 until 1957. Appointed to the Lyndhurst Police Department as Chief on May 2nd 1988. After almost 40 years of service, Chief Scalese retired in 1997.John is survived by his three loving children, Jamie Guadagnino and her husband, Robert, Scott Scalese, David Scalese and his wife, Laura, his dear grandson, Keaton John Guadagnino, and his brother, Richard Scalese and his wife, Cathy.Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation private. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.
