Albert Bailey Obituary

BAILEY
Albert, 84, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Clifton and Paterson passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2013.
Before retiring, Albert worked as a Lithographic Photographer for Litho-masters in Carlstadt, NJ and a member of ALA Local 1 for 27 years.
He was an active member of the First Reformed Church in Saddle Brook since 1955 where he served as a deacon and an elder. He also sang in the men's choir and taught Sunday School.
He was from a large family that was separated when he was young. One of his biggest regrets was never knowing his sister Margaret; who was sent to foster parents and never reunited with the family.
Dear husband of Dorothy (nee Estes) for 63 years. Loving father of Brian Bailey of Saddle Brook, Bruce Bailey and his wife Eleanor of Hackensack and Thomas Bailey and his wife Beth of Franklin. Adored grandfather of Stephanie, Nicole, Tracy and Ryan Bailey. Beloved brother of Margaret Bailey and Arthur Bailey. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Bud and Harold Bailey and his sisters Grace De Ritter and Betty Jackson.
Family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral Service Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 12 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Donations may be made in Albert's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of New Jersey, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 or The First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook-Book of Remembrance, 5 Ackerman Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.
