Catherine POMPONIO Obituary
Catherine (nee DiGregorio), 92, of Little Falls died Sunday.
Born in Gallup, New Mexico, Mrs. Pomponio resided in Cedar Grove before moving to Little Falls in 1955. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church and was a former member of the Little Falls Italian American Club.
Mrs. Pomponio was predeceased by her husband, Edmund, in 1986 and by her two brother, Fred and Amelio DiGregorio.
Survivors include her son, Edmund Pomponio and his wife, "Betty" of Little Falls; her daughter, Rosemarie Harkness and her husband, George of Clifton, NJ; her sister, Erma Lente and her husband, Arthur of Albuquerque, NM; and her grandson, Steve Lepre of Charleston, SC.
Funeral Services will be 9 AM Saturday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls and 9:30 AM at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cem., Totowa. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Memorial Contributions to Enterprise Fire Co. #2, 17 Paterson Ave., Little Falls, NJ 07424 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
