Christopher Smolar Obituary
Christopher John, age 40 of Woodland Park at rest in New York, N.Y. on April 14, 2013. Beloved son of Edward and Lorraine (nee Price) Smolar of Woodland Park. Dear brother of Jen Mehner and her husband Bill of Totowa. Dear grandson of Josephine Smolar of Dumont. Loving nephew of Carol Cross of Lynbrook, N.Y. and Elaine Rogers and her husband Walter also of Dumont. Loving uncle of Billy and Kayla Mehner. Also surviving are many loving cousins. Born in New Hyde Park, N.Y., he has lived in Woodland Park his entire life. He was Vice President of Sales for Flex Products, Carlstadt, for seventeen years until 2011. Mr. Smolar was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
