FISCHER ROSANO
Dorothy, age 76, a lifetime resident of Teaneck, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012. Devoted mother to Jeanne Marie Duby, Patricia Rosano O'Neill, Dorothy Rosano Walden, Vincent James Rosano, Alexander Rosano, Grace Marie Rosano, and Gerard Rosano. Cherished aunt of John W. Fischer, Lee Ann Fischer Diehl, William Fischer and Kelly Fischer. She was also predeceased by her former husband Alexander J. Rosano. Dorothy spent many dedicated years working as a guidance counselor for the New York City Board of Education until her retirement in 1998. She received her Masters Degree from Montclair State University and her Doctorate from Seton Hall University. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Anastasia's RC Church. Funeral service Friday 9 AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, then to St. Anastasia's RC Church for a 10 AM Mass and Catholic Burial. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
