Edward Mahon Obituary
Born in Middletown, N.Y., and raised in Passaic, Mr. Mahon lived in West Milford for more than 55 years before moving to Cedar Grove. He was an engineer for Honeywell, serving as the branch manager of the New Jersey office before retiring. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, West Milford, where he served as a Eucharistic minister for many years as well.
Services were Monday at St. Joseph's Church, West Milford, followed by interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements were by Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, Cedar Grove.
Mr. Mahon is survived by his children, Eileen Brogli, Thomas Mahon, Susan Scandariato, Mary Fuchs, Edward Mahon, Katherine Everett, and John Mahon; his brother, Jack; his sister, Judy Dolan; and 15 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen.
