Sister  Angelus Brady Obituary
Sister Angelus, CSJP, 88, died peacefully at St. Michael Villa on March 4, 2014. She was born on June 10, 1925 in Dublin, Ireland to the late Thomas John Brady and Anne Taylor Brady.
Sister Angelus entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace in Cabra, Ireland on February 2, 1950 and pronounced final vows at St. Michael Villa Novitiate, Englewood Cliffs on August 22, 1955.
Sister served as Housemother at Loretto Hall, Newark; Barbara Givernaud Orphanage, No. Bergen and St. Joseph Village, Rockleigh. In 1964 she was transferred to St. James Hospital, Newark, to minister in Utilization Review and with the Hospital Guild. She retired to St. Mary's Residence, Jersey City, in 2006, and to St. Michael Villa in 2012.
Sister was predeceased by her brothers; Joseph, Thomas and William, and sisters; Elizabeth Ann Brady and Ann P. Brady. Her sisters; Queenie Brady-Byrne; Dublin, Ireland; Mrs. Patricia Balance, Dublin, Ireland; Mrs. Dolores Lucy, Dublin, Ireland; Mrs. Rosaleen Meyerhoff, PA, and niece, Marion Precious, CT survive her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2-7 PM at St. Michael Villa, 399 Hudson Terrace, Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 9:30 AM in St. Michael Villa Chapel. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Arrangements made by Angelo G. Mania Funeral Directors, Rutherford.
