Charles Joseph, 66, of Passaic Park, passed away on April 4, 2014. Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Bilicska lived in Passaic Park for most of his life. He was retired after 33 years of employment with J.P. Morgan Co. in New York City.
Mr. Bilicska was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church in Passaic. He was a member and served as secretary of the First Catholic Slovak Union Branch 381 KJ of Jersey City and was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols Assembly #1 in Passaic.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gail (nee Kopchak) in 2002; and a daughter, Cheryl Bilicska in 1976.
Survivors include: his son, Michael Bilicska of Passaic Park; two daughters, Lauren Bilicska (Robert DeSopo) and Suzanne Bilicska, both of Clifton; two grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas DeSopo; his mother-in-law, Florence Kopchak of Wallington; his sister-in-law, Judith Kopchak of Wallington; his brother-in-law, John Kopchak and his family of Park Ridge; and his three cats, Andy, Frisky and Butterscotch.
Funeral services will be Monday 9:15 AM from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10 AM at St. Mary R.C. Church, 181 Market Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting will be Sunday from 2-5 PM.
