ORLANDO
Charles, 90, of Clifton, on April 12, 2014. Beloved husband of Concetta (Mingo) and the late Mary (Barilla). Loving father to Charles Jr. of Mountainside, Marie Bove of Concord, NC, Joyce Salvatoriello of Salisbury, NC, Carma Lynn Domino of Lakewood and Serena D'Aloia of Edison. Mr. Orlando is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren
Mr. Orlando was born in Passaic and lived the last 18 years in Clifton. He retired from International Paper in Clifton where he was a truck driver. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and received the Purple Heart, a member of the VFW Post Clifton, a member of the NJ Teamsters Local 560, Union. He also served as a crossing guard in Passaic and was a member of the DAV Chapter #1 of Passaic.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Passaic, and a member of the Mt. Carmel's Leisure Club and the St. Philip's Prime Timers.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel, 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton, on Wednesday at 10:15 AM, followed by an 11 AM funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church would be appreciated. www.marroccos.com
