Deborah Stegmayer Obituary

STEGMAYER Deborah J. (nee Pratt), of Demarest on Monday, April 4, 2011. Beloved wife of William J. Devoted mother of Audrey Giordano and her husband Alex. Loving daughter of Jean Pratt and the late Robert Pratt. Dear sister of Pamela Pratt Rantisi and her husband Joseph. Cherished aunt to eleven nieces and nephews. Born in Nanticoke, PA., Deborah lived in Brooklyn, NY and Paramus before moving to Demarest. She was a graduate of Paramus High School and William Paterson University. From 1973 to 2003 she worked for the Social Security Administration. Deborah was a licensed real estate sales person working with a brokerage firm and as an independent. Deborah was a volunteer with the Bergen County Health Care Center where she worked with the aged and infirmed. She also loved to work with children in the Pioneer Girls and the Demarest School Age Child Care Program. Deborah served as a trustee and deaconess of the Northern Valley Free Church in Cresskill and was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene in Demarest for the past eight years. She was a Life Team Member of the Community Blood Services. Friends may call at the Barrett Funeral Home, 148 Dean Drive Tenafly on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service Friday 10 AM at The Rosary Chapel on the campus of Dominican College Orangeburg NY. Interment Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Dear Family of Debbie,
So sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. Way too soon for such a beautiful person.I worked with Debbie at Social Security in Hackensack and she was a mentor to me when I was just starting out. Never forget the good times and fun working together. My prayers are with Debbie and you all.
