Obituary Condolences Flowers

Edward, 86, passed away on February 7th. Services will be held tomorrow, Sunday, February 10th at 12 noon at Temple Sholom of West Essex, located at 760 Pompton Avenue in Cedar Grove. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Fairview, NJ. Mr. Maged was retired since 2002 as a certified public accountant and maintained offices in Cedar Grove and Montclair. He lived in Cedar Grove for almost 50 years with his late wife Jule, who passed away in October. He and Jule were founding members of the synagogue and he was the past Brotherhood president, past vice president of the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods, an active participant in the Jewish Chautauqua Society (to provide knowledge and education about Judaism)and was honored multiple times for his diligence in soliciting sales of Israeli bonds. He was a proud Army Air Force veteran of the 112th division. Survivors include his children Martin, Mitchell (Kathleen) and Joyce Bivone (Thomas), as well as grandchildren Laura, Joanne, Susan, Rachel and Patricia.
