Obituary Condolences

Frances Corrubia (Musso), passed away peacefully on March 8, 2013. She was born in Brooklyn on December 1, 1917. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, her mother, Mary and her two sisters, Fanny and Jeanne.
She will be remembered always for her gentle, caring, loving, compassionate, joyful nature. Her singing will also be missed throughout the Regency Gardens hallways.
While she was widowed very young, she lived life to the fullest. She did a lot of travelling with many senior clubs. She was a volunteer at Chilton Hospital where she earned her 1,000 hours of volunteer work. She taught CCD classes, helped many charities and still had time to compete in amateur ballroom dance where she received many awards. Frances was a seamstress and Honorary-Life member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union Local 158. She was also a 50 year lifetime member of the Columbiettes-Regina Mundi Chapter in Clifton.
Her greatest accomplishment, however, was her family. She leaves behind two daughters, Barbara Wolak and her husband Richard and Judy Barone and her husband Lenny. She had five grandchildren: Jennifer Cottone and her husband Joseph, Richard Wolak and his wife Melanie, Lenny Barone and his wife Kelly, Sean Wolak and his wife Jill and Christa Schneider and her husband Keith. She had seven great-grandchildren: Skylar, Mason, Logan, Joey, Ella, Nolan and Piper. She was very proud of her godchildren: Jackie, Jessie, Janet and Marianne as well as her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10 from 4-8 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
