Frank A., Sr,, 90, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012.
Mr. Ferrucci was born in Paterson, NJ to Mary Grace (nee Gismondi) and Carlo Ferrucci.
Mr. Ferrucci proudly served as a private first class in the US Army Air Corps as an airplane engine mechanic.
Mr. Ferrucci, along with his brother Al Ferrucci, formed their own business, A&F Sign Co. in Paterson, NJ where he was self employed from 1946-1987.
In 1976 Mr. Ferrucci moved from Paterson and resided in Oak Ridge and in the year 2000 relocated to Cliffside Park where he resided until his death with his dear friend Sandra Coscia.
Mr. Ferrucci was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Oak Ridge, NJ.
He is predeceased by his wife Jean in 1993, as well as his brothers Al and Silvio Ferrucci.
Mr. Ferrucci is survived by his three sons: Carl Ferrucci of Oak Ridge, Anthony Ferrucci and his wife Deborah of Lake Hopatcong, and Frank Ferrucci of Hawthorne; his sister Helen Trobunella of Glen Rock; his grandchildren Katelyn Esposito and Nicholas Ferrucci, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He will best be remembered for his love of cooking, gardening, walking, music, and especially his family.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (For GPS use 1 Post Place, Newfoundland, NJ 07435).
The funeral mass will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 5635 Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
The interment will follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery adjacent to the church.
