My sincere condolences go to Miss Judy and her family. I did not know Mr. George very long but it was truly a pleasure to work with him each day that I was there. His humor I will always remember and he really touched a special place in my heart. He will be missed by many, but he lives on in all that he gave to this life.

The loss of George is a sad thing to not only his family but the entire east coast bonsai community.
I didn't know George half as well as I woulld have liked. We both shared a love of bonsai & I learned a few tricks from him that I will in turn pass on to those I teach. I regret that I didn't know he was here until it was too late to see him.
To George's family I extend the deepest sympathy of the local bonsai community.

I had the chance to meet George just once, he visited my home for a summer club picnic and workshop. Georges was very charming and we got to chat privately at length. Later that summer he called and invited me to visit him...sadly that day will never come.
I will however rember George as the kind gentelman who showed me the trick to removing ficus sap from one's hands..
mine and my families scincere condolences,

Dear Sherri and family,Both my Mom and I were so saddened to hear about the death of your Father. I am so glad that you were able to move your Parents to The Arbours where it appears that they made many friends especially since your Father was so talented in the Art of Bonsai. May his Memory always be for a Blessing and may you find comfort from the words of others about their special times with your Father. Our Deepest Sympathy to your Mom, Bill, and Robyn. Belle & Ed

George was the consummate bonsai artist. His technical knowledge was vast, and his design sensibility was impeccable. He was the single greatest influence on my botanical design aesthetic. The entire bonsai community mourns the loss of this giant.
I want to extend my sincerest condolences to George's family, especially his lovely wife, Judy.
