Gloria (nee Murovchick), 87, born in the Bronx, NY, passed away on December 28, 2011 in Boca Raton, FL, where she was a member of Congregation B'nai Torah. She was preceded in death by Edward, her beloved husband of 62 years. She is survived by four devoted daughters, Linda Chernus (Stanley Welch) of Cincinnati, Roxanne (Edward) Joffe of Miami, Sandra Anfang of Half Moon Bay, CA, and Pamela Rivlin (Gary Hacker) of South Florida; six adoring grandchildren-Matthew (Marina) Joffe, Rebecca George, Michael Rivlin, Justin Joffe, Marissa Rivlin, and Clay Huddle; and, great granddaughter, Lauren Joffe. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth (Sherman) Franklin of South Florida, nieces, a nephew, and several cousins.
Gloria was a graduate of Hunter College in New York, where she also received her Masters' Degree in Public Health. She taught high school physical education, was a past Sisterhood President of the Jewish Center of Teaneck, NJ and a life member of Hadassah.
