Dear Elin, Nina and Lisa - 1/27/12 - I'm sorry to learn of Guy's passing. I'm one of the many Sig Ep Bros. who have tremendous respect for Guy's contributions and loyalty to R.U. and Sig Ep, among his many other achievements. I'm sorry I can't be with you tomorrow, but others will be there for him and for you. Kindest regards, Dan Martin, NJ Beta '50.

Elin, Nina and Lisa,
I will always remember Guy as a man of great passion and integrity. His passions were for family, good food, and RU. I can still see him wearing that red beret to the Rutgers football games. That was 30 years ago in Basking Ridge. Another memory was driving on Saturday mornings to get bread, sausage and veal to make a delicious Italian dinner, just as his family did growing up. Guy was a man who valued tradition. Integrity comes to my mind as Guy always insisted on doing the right thing. Guy was a man who lived life well and enjoyed many, many, experiences. Know that he is at peace with the Lord. Our thoughts are with you.
Love and hugs to you and your family.

Jed e-mailed me when Guy died and he also sent me his obituary. Steve would want me to respond in some way so here I am. Stories about Guy were part of Steve's conversations and I know that they were great friends. If I remember correctly, he helped Chris get into Rutgers and it was the perfect school for him. I am certain that he still goes to all the Rutgers football games. My deepest sympathy. Everyone at Alexander Summer Company will miss him.
