John ALGOZZINI Obituary

ALGOZZINI John F., 79, of Paramus. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Steingress) for fifty-seven years passed away on June 15, 2009. He was the devoted father of John and his wife Gwen, Douglas and his wife Vicky, Kathy Algozzini and his son-in-law Robert Prumatico. He was predeceased by his daughter Joan Prumatico (1983). He is also survived by his grandchildren Lee, Amanda, Matthew and Connor, sister Josephine Haggett and her husband William, Fran Gorbacz and her husband Joseph and sister-in-law Margaret Algozzini. John was the owner of Wood-Ridge Mirror and Glass Co. until his retirement last year. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps from 1948 to 1951 and was stationed in Okinawa. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 9 AM and from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation, Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations to the St. Joseph Capital Campaign Fund, 120 Hoboken Road, East Rutherford, NJ 07073 would be appreciated.

Dear Barbara and Family,

We are all so sorry to learn of John's passing. It has been such a sad year for all of us. He was a dear friend of our Mom and Dad and we hope they are reunited in heaven.
