Kathleen (nee Corcoran) "Kay," 84 of Ringwood on November 4, 2013 at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Born in North Bergen, NJ , Kay resided in Ringwood for the last 2 years. Prior she had lived in Glen Rock for 40 years, where she raised her family and then moved to Fair Lawn for 10 years.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University. Before retiring in 1986, she was department head of the English and Humanities programs at Immaculate Heart Academy in Washington Township. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church in Glen Rock.
Kay was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Alfred W. Di Tolla in 1994 and by her beloved daughters, Jane Delia Di Tolla in 1987 and Andrea Mary Marshall in 1999. She was also predeceased by her loving son-in-law Albert Fritz III in 1993.
Survivors include her adoring sons Alfred J. "Biff" Di Tolla and wife Christine of Barto, PA, and Daniel Di Tolla and wife Linda Sinofsky of Chester, NY. Two beloved daughters, M. Lourdes Fritz of Ringwood and Kathleen M. Mc Carty of Ringwood survive. There are 9 cherished grandchildren, Timothy and Daniel Fritz, Bevin Bolger and husband J.T., Hannah and Elizabeth Mc Carty, Alfred Jacob and Emily Di Tolla and Quinn and Delaney Marshall surviving. Kay leaves behind her loving great grandchildren, A.J., Kaylee, Aidan and Theo Bolger. Also surviving is her loving sister Mary Jane Roethlin of Hawthorne and her loving sister in law Patricia Corcoran of Philadelphia and Don Mc Carty and Keith Marshall.
Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 AM at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Browning Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne.
