LeRoy W. Sr., 86, husband of Emma E. (Jacobia) for 64 years, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014. Born in Newark, he lived in Dover coming to Ringwood 64 years ago. Mr. Malmstone served in the Merchant Marines (1944-45), then in the US Navy (1946-47). A Chief Lineman, he was employed at Jersey Central Power & Light Company, Boonton for 36 years. He was a member of VFW and American Legion, was a hunter and fisherman. LeRoy loved flea markets, antiquing and traveling, he visited all the States in the USA. Along with his wife, he is survived by a son, LeRoy W. Jr. of Ringwood, three daughters, Deborah Collins (husband, Donald) of Vernon, Donna J. Stevens (husband, Lee) of Hamburg, and Michele Jones (husband, Alfred) of Hewitt, two brothers, Harold (wife, Beverly) of Succasunna and Fred (wife, Joan) of NC, two sisters, Marie Drescher of MA and Florence Smith (husband, Glen) of FL, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna (Kull) Malmstone and two brothers, Raymond and Charles. Funeral Service Thursday at 1 PM at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale. Interment Midvale Cemetery, Wanaque. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 PM.
