Loran (Supa), 50, of Duhaney Park, Kingston, Jamaica died on June 20th 2013 at UMD Hospital in Baltimore, MD, after a fatal car accident. Born July 14, 1962 to Lionel Hector and Doris Duncan of Jamaica West Indies, Loran is survived by his five children Jesse, Imani, Kareem, Candace and YuYah Hector; his sister Marva and brothers Halcott and Maurice Hector. Loran was known for his mentorship, strong spirit and willingness to help others; he was a strict vegetarian and a staunch advocate for living a natural and healthy lifestyle. He also had a strong affinity and belief in his West Indian and African culture and was a fierce advocate and defender for truth and social justice, which touched and deeply influenced countless friends and family around the world. Celebrations to honour Loran will be held in New Jersey as well as Maryland where he made his home and had a great team of friends.
