Obituary Condolences

LYNDHURST- Louis M. Zollo, 93, died on Sunday, Dec. 8. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., lived in Lyndhurst for 58 years and has been a resident of Latrobe, Pa. for the past 2 years.

Mr. Zollo was a chemist for Var Chem, Clifton for 42 years, retiring in 1992. He was a pioneer in the development of inks that dry by ultraviolet light and has several patents for this process. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #2396, American Legion Post # 139, he was a life member and Past Commander of V.F.W Post 3549 and Past President of Sacred Heart Holy Name Society, all of Lyndhurst. Mr. Zollo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Annette M. (nee Kelly) Zollo in 1987 and his daughter, Patricia Taylor in 2008. He is survived by his loving children, Louis Zollo and his wife, Nancy, Mary Beth Petronio and her husband, Matt, Annette "Nancy" Trotter and her husband, Joseph and Eileen Frost and her husband, Russ, by his nine dear grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 a.m. a funeral mass will be offered. Interment in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y. Visiting hours are Wednesday, 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to: Disabled American Veterans, P. O.
