Madeline Fagan, 91, of Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2014.
Born in New York City on October 12, 1922, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Fagan of Harrington Park, NJ.
Madeline proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II.
Madeline's life's work was caring for her family. Madeline also took great joy in the service of her fellow man, working for various non-profit organizations during her life, including the Burlington County Community Action Program and the Housing Authority of Bergen County, in addition to serving as the executive director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Madeline also held two masters' degrees.
Madeline was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis, and her siblings, Joseph Fagan, Miriam Fagan Bross and Jacqueline Fagan.
Madeline is survived by her beloved children and their spouses/partners: Antonia Adezio and Rick Goodsell of Sonoma, CA, JoAnne Crissey and Daniel Addabbo of Tucson, AZ, Paul and Suellen Adezio of Hamilton Square, NJ, and three wonderful grandchildren, Jesseca and Lachlan Crissey and Derek Adezio; nephews Bernard Bross and Michael Fagan, niece Ellen Fagan Kenny, and their respective spouses and children.
Funeral services were held on March 22, 2014 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, with interment at Holy Hope Cemetery, both in Tucson. Memorial contributions in Madeline's name may be made to Angel Charity for Children, P.O. Box 14225, Tucson, AZ 85732.
