WEST MILFORD — Services were held for Maria Concetta Nativo Riola, 100, of this township, who died on Sunday, December 8, 2013.
Born in Paterson, Mrs. Riola lived there for her entire life before moving to West Milford in 2005. She was a teacher for the Paterson Board of Education, last teaching at John F. Kennedy High School before retiring. Also, she was a Woman's Army Corps veteran of World War II. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard's R.C. Church, Paterson, as well.
Services were Thursday at the DeLuccia-Lozito Funeral Home, Haledon, followed by liturgy at St. Gerard's R.C. Church. Entombment was at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
Mrs. Riola is survived by her stepson, Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony; and her brothers, Joseph and Angelo Nativo.
