DRIVAS
Marina (nee Poulos), age 77, of Barnegat, NJ, formerly of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
Beloved wife of 57 years to Minas "Mike" Drivas; Loving mother of Elena Faulch and Alexis Bannos (Thomas); proud grandmother of Thomas Franchino (Rachele) and Cassandra and Ariana Bannos. She is also survived by her brother James Wm. Poulos (Frieda).
Born in Jersey City on March 7, 1935 and graduated from Union Hill High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She held several secretarial positions for various companies. Prior to her retirement, she served 14 years as church secretary of her beloved St. Nicholas in Wyckoff, where she also was a choir member for over 20 years. She was also a member of Kali Parea, St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, Toms River, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at 10 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Entombment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in her memory to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
