RUSSO
Norman, 82, of Toms River NJ, formerly of Mahwah NJ, died Tuesday, October 15th, 2013. He was born to the late Henry and Jeanette Russo, January 23, 1931, in Bronx, NY. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and attended New York University. Norman served in the Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He retired as the Senior Executive Vice President of Daicolor-Pope Chemical. He started his career with Allied Chemical, New York Color and BASF. He enjoyed spending time with his family on Long Beach Island and in Atlantic City. Norman is survived by his beloved wife of fifty two years, Clare (née Mead), two daughters; Shelley Granitzski and her husband Scott, and Jean Van Da Ree and her husband Walter, two sons; Steven and his wife Nancy, and Peter and his wife Julie, and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
