1946 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
PEQUANNOCK — Services will be held for Sally Joan Blickens Cropper, 67, of the Pompton Plains section of this community, who died on Friday, May 30, 2014.

Born in Scranton, Pa., Mrs. Cropper was raised in Parsippany and lived in Pompton Plains for more than 45 years. She was an eighth-grade teacher before retiring. Later, she was the owner and operator of the Book Shop, Pompton Plains, for 17 years. She served at the state level on the executive committee of the Junior Woman's Club. And, she was an advocate for youth-related causes.

Arrangements are by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Pequannock Township First Aid Squad.

Mrs. Cropper is survived by her husband, Harry; her sons, Chris of Baltimore, Md., and Peter of New Providence; and four grandsons.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Ralph Blickens.
