Susan Cucinella Obituary

CUCINELLA Susan Katrina, 78, of Northville, NY, died Saturday May 21, 2011 at the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home in Gloversville. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Virginia Lloyd. She was a graduate of Western High School in Washington, DC and was a homemaker throughout her life. On September 13, 1953 she married Joseph Cucinella, who predeceased her on July 19, 2001. She attended the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Northville for many years. Survivors include her sons; Darren Cucinella of Schenectady and Christopher Cucinella of Northville. Five daughters; Loni Luckey of Northville, Karen Ashley of Colorado, Dana Bennett of Schenectady, Tina Castello of Northville and Holly Varriale of Northville. She is also survived by her beloved niece; Linda (Nelson) Coffman of Lorton, VA; her 18 grandchildren; her first great-granddaughter due in June. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Rainwater and her nephew Randy Rainwater. Friends may call on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at the Northville Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Northville on Tuesday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Northampton Ambulance Squad, PO Box 155, Northville, NY 12134 or the charity of one's choice.
