CAHOON
Wilbur Tripp, died peacefully at home in Chappaqua, NY on October 20, 2013 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife Judith Wunneke Cahoon. Will is survived by his children Andrea Cahoon and her partner Audrey Donellan of Ringwood, Brian Cahoon, Claudia Pepper, Nancy Troop, Heather Maloney and her husband Jim, and Will's sister and her husband Ruth and Ron Freeman. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Nicholas, Max and Joey Troop, Andrew Pepper-Anderson, Owein Levin and James Maloney, and his first wife and mother of his children, Marjorie Borzilleri.
Born in Newport, RI, he was in the Armed Services during WWII and later graduated from Pratt Institute in NY. Will was an Art Director who had a life long career in advertising design at Wunderman, Ricotta & Kline/Y&R. Will spent most of his free time in his studio drawing and painting, a passion he pursued all his life. Other interests included golf, the NY Jets, baseball, gardening, reading, and doing the NY Times crossword puzzle every day.
Services will be private. Funeral arrangements are by Cassidy-Flynn in Mt Kisco, NY. The family prefers in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ringwood Public Library 30 Cannici Dr Ringwood, NJ 07456.
