William Tsigaras

Obituary Condolences

William Dean, of Allendale, died suddenly Sunday morning following a short illness. Originally from Midland Park, William (Bill) Tsigaras also spent considerable time at Hemlock Farms in Lords Valley, PA where he was a lifelong and active member of their fire department.
Bill was known for his involvement in law enforcement especially in internet crime as well as his advocacy for cyber bullying and Internet security. Bill frequently gave talks on these subjects to schools and organizations in an attempt to raise awareness and ensure parents and students understood the issues and how they could fight back and protect against predators and bullies.
Bill recently worked at Kroll CyberSecurity as well as the Montville School District. He was a substitute teacher in the Allendale school district where he was known by all as Mr. Bill. He could often be seen riding around town on his motorcycle waving to his students. Bill was also a member of the NJ Blue Knights Motorcycle Club.
Bill is survived by his loving mother, Helen of Hemlock Farms in Lords Valley PA and his daughter, Nicole who lives with her mother Debbie Donnely of Allendale. Bill leaves behind many friends, neighbors and relatives that he touched with his kindness and generosity.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7-9 PM. A prayer service will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Hemlock Farms Fire Department, 1053 Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, PA 18428 or St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
