Wladyslaw "Walter", 93, of Toms River, on Monday, May 6, 2013. Born in Stany, Poland, he came to the United States in 1964, living in Wallington before moving to Toms River 15 years ago. He was owner and operator of a textile warehouse store in Garfield retiring in 1989, previously he was a mechanic for Magor Railroad Car Company in Clifton. He was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heat of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington. Walter was the beloved husband of Olga (nee Marszalowicz), and predeceased by his first wife Zofia (nee Kochan), devoted father of Marek Surowiec of Melbourne, FL., and Mrs. Zenon (Elizabeth) Wronski of Kinnelon, loving grandfather of Yvonne Chmielowiec, Robert and Richard Wronski, and great-grandsons Nicholas, Carter, and Preston, dear brother of the late Jozef and Frank Surowiec, Zofia Nieradka, Frances Bonk, Anna Ujda, and Maria Surowiec. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Friday, 8:30 AM, from the Kamienski Funeral Home, 106 Locust Avenue, Wallington, and 9 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
