Beatrice Allen Obituary

Beatrice (Murphy), of Union City (formerly of Hoboken) born October 19, 1930, was called home to Heaven on September 9, 2012, peacefully surrounded by her thirteen children and many grandchildren at the Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, NJ.
Beatrice, beloved daughter of the late Bridget (nee Fitzgibbons) and Timothy Murphy and also predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Daniel, her sisters Margaret McKeever, Eileen Sheehan, Mary Murphy, and her brother Timothy. Beatrice is survived by her thirteen children, thirty-two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, Timothy and wife Audrey and their children, Scott, Courtney, and Andrew, and great-grandson, Matthew, Kathleen Ancuta and her husband Leonid and their son Leonard, Christopher and his wife Beth, and their daughters Jennifer and Sasha, Daniel and his wife Victoria and their children, Katelyn, Marissa, and Bryce, Edward and his children Vanessa and Edward and great-grand-daughter Graciella, Maureen Ramirez and her husband Reynaldo and their children, Justin, Beatrice, Daniel, Linda, and Laura, Mark and his wife Frances and their daughters, Kayla, Meghan, Samantha, Sir Patrick Allen (KHS), Jeanette and her late husband Dr. NagiKadriand their children, Dahlia, Tarick, Nadia, and Nora, Eileen Molinari and her husband Richard and their daughters, Aleasa, Jaclyn, and Olivia, Terrence and his wife Janet, and their children, Terrence and Chelsea, Gregory and his wife Kathleen, and their children Brandon, and Lauren, and Brendan and his wife Omaira, and their sons Nicholas, and Michael.
Strong in Catholic Faith, Beatrice was a longtime parishioner of Sts. Joseph's and Michael's Church,member of Sacred Heart Society, the Veronica's Veil Guild, and taught CCD teacher for many years. Beatrice participated in the annual bus trips for March for Life Campaigns in Washington D.C. Beatrice enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren on over 20 family cruises, to many destinations, including Bermuda, where she lived for two years and where she began her family. She also enjoyed trips to the casino with her late husband, and her children as well as playing scrabble on the kindle and watching daily midnight Mass on EWTN for many years. Always a kind word to share and a beautiful smile, Beatrice blessed everyone with her unconditional love. She was a woman who set a great example for her children and grandchildren to carry on. One of Beatrice's sayings was "the future was not ours to see, whatever will be will be." Beatrice truly lived a Beautiful Life and enjoyed the sacrament of Holy Communion as her last meal.
The family will receive their friends at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, on Wednesday, Sept 12 (7-9 PM) and Thursday Sept 13 (2-4 PM) and (7-9 PM). Mass will be held at St. Joseph's and Michael's Church, Union City on Friday, Sept. 14th at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest contributions to Villa Marie Claire Hospice and Palliative Care at or Community Options Inc.
