Ruth Ellen of Leonia on January 30, 2014. Beloved daughter of Levoid Townsend and the late Harriette G. Townsend. Cherished granddaughter of Harriette H. Coleman. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her sister Cheryl Christine Townsend and brother Harry Lee Townsend. Funeral Services Wednesday, February 5, 10 AM, at Greater Bethel United Holiness Church, 264 Second Street, Hackensack. Visitation 3-9 PM, Tuesday at the church. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The Repast will be held at the American Legion, 399 Broad Avenue, Leonia following the burial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the church. Arrangements by Earl I. Jones Funeral Home, 305 First Street, Hackensack. Brent Smallwood Senior Director.
