PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Charles "Bob" Robert Warner, 75, who died on Friday, March 7, 2014. He was a former resident of this township.

Bob was a truck driver, self-employed painter and paper hanger, and a security guard. When he was 9 years old, he worked his first job, picking up bowling pins at the local bowling alley. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a member of the Tin Can Sailors as well.

Services were Tuesday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to .

Mr. Warner is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Sprague; his sons, Robert, Steven, Thomas, Brian, and Daniel; his daughters, Beth Battista; and eight grandchildren.
