Patrick Jordan VAN CLEVE Obituary

Patrick Jordan, 68, of Ridgewood passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2014 while golfing in Florida.
Born in Newark, he grew up in Chatham and Madison (MHS '63) and lived in Ridgewood for the past 27 years. Prior to that he lived in Bergenfield and Manhattan. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and graduated from Lehigh University with a BA in Economics ('67). Patrick worked as a Manager in the Costing and Pricing Division at Verizon, and retired in 2002.
Beloved husband of the late Ellen (nee Graves) Van Cleve.
Devoted father of Kimberly Van Cleve of Raleigh, NC, Christopher Van Cleve and his wife Jennifer of Ridgewood NJ and Ryan Van Cleve of Alexandria, VA.
Loving grandfather of Alexandra. Dear brother of Michael Van Cleve of Budd Lake NJ. Predeceased by Jordan and Jean Van Cleve. Patrick was a wonderful Dad, Grandfather and friend whose wit, candor, and counsel will be dearly missed. He will be remembered in all of our hearts.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday April 5th from 1-4 PM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. A time of remembrance will be at approximately 3 PM.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Ridgewood Recycling Center (payable to "Village of Ridgewood Other Trust Fund" - memo line should read "Recycling-in Memory of Pat Van Cleve").
