PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Mary Lou Ricciardi, 79, of the Pompton Plains section of this community, who died on Monday, March 31, 2014.

Born in Paterson, Mrs. Ricciardi was a longtime resident of Nutley and then Clifton before moving to Pompton Plains nine years ago. She was a teacher in Nutley and then an administrative assistant at ADP. Also, she was an active member of many organizations at Cedar Crest Village, Pompton Plains.

Services were Thursday at Cedar Crest Chapel, Pompton Plains, followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Arrangements were by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.

Mrs. Ricciardi is survived by her son, Philip; her daughter, Kathryn Colgate; four grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph.
