RINGWOOD — Services were held for Harry Anthony Shortway, 90, of Palm Harbor, Fla., who died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was the father of Jeffrey of this community.

Born and raised in Paterson, Mr. Shortway lived in Glen Rock and Franklin Lakes before moving to Palm Harbor. He was the director of product planning at the Congoleum Company. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church, Glen Rock, and the St. James Choir in Montclair as well.

Services were Friday at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, followed by interment at Fair Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a .

Mr. Shortway also is survived by his daughter, Lonna Richmond of Muir Beach, Calif.; his other son, Greg of North Haledon; his brothers, Rich of North Haledon, and Bill of East Lake Woodlands, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Gladys Teichman.
