Stella (nee Ratynski) Dombrowski-Ziemski, 91, of Denville, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014.

Mrs. Ziemski was born in 1922 to Boleslaus and Joanna Ratynski in Florida, N.Y. She lived in Jersey City, Rutherford and Whiting before moving to Denville.

Mrs. Ziemski was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Rutherford and the Catholic Women's Club, and ran the parish thrift shop for many years.

Moving to Whiting in 1992, she belonged to St. Elizabeth Seton Church volunteering for Meals-on-Wheels and Helping Hands Ministries.

She is predeceased by her first husband Henry Dombrowski and her second husband Henry Ziemski, and her siblings, Walter, Alex, Felix, Joseph, Daniel, Edward, Dorothy, Mary, Aleksandra and Frances.

Stella will be greatly missed by her four beloved children and their families, Lin D. Jones of Rockaway, Nancy, David and Henry Dombrowski of Union Beach, Stockholm and Carlstadt, respectively, along with 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 12, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. The funeral will be on Tuesday, May 13, at 8 a.m., from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home for 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus RC Cemetery, Pine Island, N.Y.
