Dominic J., age 82, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 22 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. Dominic was born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy on June 6, 1931, and moved to Hoboken, NJ where he spent his childhood. He lived most of his life in Fort Lee and was an active and devoted parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. He worked in trucking and then as a roads inspector for the Hudson County Public Works Department. Dominic was predeceased by his parents Paul and Vincenza Francese and his sister Lucy DiGioia. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 59 years, Annamae (Corbisiero). He is also survived by his children Paul and Jenny Francese, Karen and Robert Hamilton, and Sharon and Ivan Francin.; grandchildren Dominic and Erin Francese, Brian Francese, Christina Francin, John Francin, Robert Hamilton; great-granddaughter Marcella Marie Francese; and his brother and sister-in-law Jim and Marie Francese. Dominic was a friend to many, a giver of loving advice, and known for his strong handshakes and hugs. He will be missed by all who were lucky to know him. The family will receive their friends on Saturday 9-10 AM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library".
