Eugene Michael Squeo passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Squeo lived in Ho-Ho-Kus and was a long time resident of Wyckoff.

Mr. Squeo served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff and a member of the EPVA - Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association.

Mr. Squeo is survived by his son Luke J. Squeo-Pulido of Rutherford and Luke's mother Maria L. Kobylarz, his sister Adrienne Pace, his two nephews Lucien M. Pace and Christian G. Pace, his God-Mother Aunt Dolores DeGiovine, and the many loving nurses who cared for Mr. Squeo throughout the years.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery in Ho-Ho-Kus.
