Edward E., 100, of Wallington, passed away August 16th, 2014. He was born in Jersey City to the late Edward J. and Agnes (nee Ericksen) Brouillard in 1913.
Edward resided in Rutherford from 1952 to1974 before settling in Wallington. He was a member of the Boiling Springs Masonic Lodge #152 and the Old Guard of Rutherford. He was the chief electrician for the Daily News in NYC for 17 years before retiring in 1979.
Edward will be deeply missed by his son Edward J. Brouillard, nieces, Patricia Somers, Kathleen Curcio, several grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Edward is predeceased by his wife Madelaine (nee Chausatt) 2007, his son Norman Brouillard (2009), his sisters Agnes Brouillard, Helen Somers and his daughter-in-law Evelyn (nee Byrnes), the wife of his son Edward.
Funeral on Thursday 8:30 AM from the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford followed by 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Liturgy in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Family will receive friends and loved ones Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
