Robert H., 86, a longtime resident of Maywood, NJ passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Bob had a long career as an electronics engineer in the aerospace industry. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy, Vice-Commander of the New Milford VFW post # 217,a member of the Maywood Civil Defense, and avid HAM radio operator using the call sign W2VBR. He was also the go-to dad and neighbor who could fix anything and was always happy to help. Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Korfitsen). Devoted father of Leslie R., Robert W., Jeffrey H., Andrew E. and Michael J. Dear brother of Annette Adamec, the late Ida McKay and the late Edith Mack. Grandfather of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 AM-1 PM at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave, Maywood (201-487-3050) on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Funeral Service at the funeral home 12:30 PM. Graveside service to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maywood Public Library, 459 Maywood Ave, Maywood, NJ 07607 in his name.
