Charles, 79, of Carlstadt for over 45 years, formerly East Rutherford, passed away August 11, 2012. He was born in Bayonne, worked 30 years for A&P Super Market and then was employed by the Carlstadt Department of Public Works Building and Grounds, retiring at the age of 65. He was an Army Korean War Veteran, a life member of the V.F.W. Schmidt-Hoeger Post #3149, for which he served as Quarter Master for 37 years, American Legion Post #0106, parishioner of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Carlstadt Senior Friendship Club. Most recently, Mr. Gabrian was a School Crossing Guard for the Borough of Carlstadt. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Piazza) Gabrian. Loving father of Mariann Gabrian, Robert Gabrian and his wife Linda, Sandra Morello and her husband John, Karen Binetti and her husband Vito. Cherished grandfather of Vincent, Michael, Timothy, Gianna, John, Kayla, Nicholas and Lillianna. Funeral service at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visitation Tuesday 3-7 PM.
